This is now my sixth attempt to write this posting. It turns out that it is much more complicated to write a post in order to support somebody else than for yourself.
So what is this stuff here all about? Ok, actually it’s obvious that it’s about „ROCK“ music!
This posting is about five young men on their mission to bring ROCK back to our lives.
In times of Dubstep, auto-tuned Electro-po(o)p and power-indie-super-stars, this is nothing less but a task for real heroes. These heroes gave themselves the name MAKE MY DAY.
Some months ago they made first attempts with their free EP (Link). I really loved it. It was free and it was good. Really good. Their music is as good as Tequila-Body-Shots with Kate Upton or being Hank Moody for at least one week. Experiencing them live in concert is like Morgan Freeman narrating your life.
In order to Rock hard, they are going to release their super-powers on their first album, “Party Like A Grizzly”
And you guys can support MAKE MY DAY and their mission. All you need is a Pay-Pal-Account or a credit card. This gives you the power to support MAKE MY DAY recording their ALBUM (which is indeed a bloody expensive thing to do).

Ich will es kurz machen. Denn viel zu sagen gibt es eigentlich nicht. Am Mittwoch haben Make My Day mal wieder live die totale Vollsau raus gelassen. Oder die Rocksau. Es war schmutzig, heiß, stickig, schwitzig und eines der besten Clubkonzerte die jemals gesehen habe. Sänger Caddison zeigt mal wieder eine Bühnenpräsenz, die einen quasi zum abgehen gezwungen hat.
Verkackt hat den Abend allerdings mal wieder mein Akku. Ich brauch langsam echt einen Batteriegriff und noch ein oder zwei AKKUS. Damit ich auch die zweite Hälfte eines Konzerts mal fotografieren kann.
Übrigens auf den Fotos seht auch die Vorband von Make My Day. Backseat nannten sie sich, waren musikalisch echt ein Glücksgriff, allerdings ohne auf der Bühne durch Action zu überzeugen. Als Musik gut, Bühnenperformance mit Luft nach oben.
Wer Make My Day nochmals live sehen will hat übrigens beim Ragnarock noch mal die Gelegenheit.
Es gibt so Dinge, die sollte man mal gemacht haben. DJ auf einer Party sein zum Beispiel. Als mein Kumpel Benni mir erzählte, dass er an einem Abend zusammen mit zwei Mädels im Monkeys in Gießen auflegen würde, war bereits klar: Das wird ein steiler Abend! Und Kinder – es war ein Bombenabend. Die Musik war abwechslungsreich, die Gäste gut drauf und die Stimmung schweißtreibend. Das Konzept Gäste mal auflegen zu lassen hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Den Leuten sowieso. Und dann noch das Team vom Monkeys. Nette Menschen! Hier meine Bilder vom gestrigen Abend.
