Moscow-Metro-Magic
One of Moscow’s main attractions is it’s metro. Build in the stalin era, it’s definitely one of the most efficient rapid transit systems in Europe. There is almost no chance that a metro-train will have a delay. Usually you never have to wait longer than 2 minuets for your tube. A ride, no matter how far you are going to go, costs less than one Euro.
But there is more than pure efficiency: The Moscow’s Metro-Station are mixture of stalinistic gigantism and absolute pomp. The stations are deep under the earth, and were used as bunkers during WW-II. There is even a restaurant chain, celebrating Moscow’s metro by it’s interior.
The pictures in this post were photographed during my journey through Moscow in the last week. Feel free to share the link
